The room at Grocer's Inn Backpackers Guesthouse was totally awesome! It had a super cozy vibe with funky decor and comfy beds. I felt like a cool cat chilling in my own little oasis.

The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the bathroom. The shower was a bit small for my liking, but hey, some people might still dig it.

Always choose this place. No regrets. They helped me find a taxi. It suits me perfectly. Free Wi-Fi, car park. Coming back for Christmas.

Everything in working condition: aircon, fan, water heater; clean rooms; friendly and helpful staff; comfortable beds; great location for food and shopping; close to train stations and bus stops; walking distance to major attractions; very safe neighborhood even at night.

The hostel had a really good location, close to a bus station and train station, making it easy to get around the city. The staff was helpful and provided great tips on places to visit. the laundry service was a major advantage, as we were able to get our clothes washed and dried in just a few hours.

One thing that bothered us was the additional tourist tax that we had to pay. Another downside was the annoying blue light that came on when we plugged in our devices to charge.

Exceptional: The ladies at reception were the sweetest in all of Asia, the heritage building was awesome, and the balcony was the perfect spot to people-watch in Chinatown. Only downside, the WiFi was like a marathon runner with a broken leg.

We absolutely loved staying at this guesthouse in the heart of Chinatown! The location was perfect for us as low-budget travelers, with easy access to the surrounding activities and plenty of shops and eateries nearby. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with a free map and assisting us in planning our activities and navigating public transport. The upgraded double room was a pleasant surprise, and the bed was big and comfortable. We also enjoyed the convenience of the cafe downstairs, where we could use our laptops while enjoying a cup of coffee. a great experience!

We had an excellent time at this guesthouse. The location was perfect, with easy access to cheap street foods and all the main attractions within walking distance. The staff were friendly, always greeting us with warm smiles and even making jokes. The rooms were cozy and well-ventilated, and there was no need for air conditioning. We were pleasantly surprised to find USB charging ports, so we didn't need adapters.

I had an amazing stay at this guesthouse for 8 nights. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The building is a beautiful heritage property with balconies on each level, offering a great view of Chinatown. The location is convenient with the hop on hop off bus and train stations nearby. The room was clean and comfortable with efficient air-conditioning. Highly recommend!
